The purpose of scar camouflge a.k.a paramedical tattooing; is to disguise the appearance of scar tissue, skin discolouration or blend in markings on the skin seamlessly. It is also known as corrective pigment camouflage (CPC), skin repigmentation, camouflage tattooing, skin-colour tattooing, or skin camouflage.

WHAT WILL I LOOK LIKE AFTER THE TREATMENT?
Inkless Stretchmark Revision has little to no downtime; most people return to work following the procedure. Skin redness and swelling are expected immediately following the treatment. Swelling will subside within 24 hours; redness can persist for several days. Your skin may feel dry, tight, itchy or sensitive in the 7-21 days following, depending on the location of the area treated and how aggressive the treatment was performed. Products to hydrate and nourish the skin will be offered following your treatment.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY TREATMENT?
* Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning 1 week before your appointment.
* Shower before; skin should be clean without lotion, oil, makeup, deodorant or sunscreen.
* Avoid using skin thinners (vitamin A, glycolic acids, exfoliation, benzyl peroxide) to the treatment area 1 week prior to your appointment.
* Avoid alcohol or blood thinners (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, other NSAID medication, fish oil, Niacin, Vitamin E) 48 hours before your procedure, to avoid excess bleeding. Do not stop required medications without first consulting with your doctor.
CAN ALL SCARS BE TREATED?
Scars must be fully healed and either flesh coloured or lighter than the surrounding skin in order to receive the treatment. Any stretchmark/scars that are dark red or purple, raised/keloid or less than 9 months old cannot be treated. Inkless Stretchmark Revision is suitable for all skin types and can be used to treat stretch marks on various parts of the body, including the stomach, thighs, arms, and hips. Additionally, Inkless Scar Revision can treat scars from acne, surgery, injury, breast lift, facelift and tummy tuck.

Consultation
The lip blushing process is like that of any cosmetic beauty treatment. It starts with a consultation to determine goals and discuss feasible results. Once the client and artist are aligned on shape and shade, photos will be taken of the client’s lips to serve as the before, with comparison after shots taken post-treatment. Then it’s time for the treatment itself.
Mapping
a numbing agent is applied and allowed to set in for over 20 minutes or so. Then We’ll start the mapping process, where we work to create the client's desired shape! Once everything is outlined, Then, it’s time to tattoo.
Tattooing
I like to start with the outline of the lips to ensure there will be no guessing where the decided shape is! After the tattooed outline is in place, i pass over each lip roughly three times to ensure even pigment saturation. Once all is said and done, the client will be shown their results, and final photos will be snapped.
Most lip blushing treatments take around three hour, so while it might seem like a small tattoo, it will require a solid block of time to bring to life. “Touch-ups and refreshes take less time however!
First 24 Hours
the first 24 hours after a lip blushing treatment are often the most challenging. “Keep in mind, immediately following the procedure, your lips may still be a bit numb and can be swollen,” she says. “Each client is different. Some will swell up like balloons while others will leave with hardly any swelling at all. It all depends on your body chemistry. Either way, there is absolutely no need to worry about swelling. It's completely normal, and although it can be intimidating to see at first, it will not last, and it is a part of the healing process.
Days After
I personally have my clients clean their lips every two to three hours with warm water and cotton pads (always patting dry) for five to seven days or until the lips are flaking.
This will help to clean away lymph fluid that will begin to form a scab on the lips and keep the lips as sanitary as possible during healing.
Long Term
As for moisturizing, applying a thin layer every time you feel them drying out is plenty! If you glob large amounts on, it will actually be bad for your lips. Over moisturizing can lead to lips becoming irritated and possibly forming little bumps on the lips.
